"The tour this summer was, in a lot of ways, a learning curve. I mean, when you break it down, it was about how do you move on? How do you take those first faltering steps and move on? How do you make sense of [Paul's death]. I think, with this tour, we made a little bit of sense. And so Rock in Rio is a gigantic step, to be honest. It will be the biggest audience we've ever played for. It will be one of those gigs that is very much like Donnington, very much like Knebworth-it's a prestige gig. It's one of those gigs that you grow up reading about other bands doing it, everyone from Metallica to Iron Maiden. It's heavy duty. But at the end of the day, it's gonna be great. I think the South American fans are gonna be stoked. I think they're really gonna enjoy what we do. And I think Pauly will definitely be there with us, and I think we'll just get up there and celebrate with him, the way we did in Europe and the way that, in time, we will do with everyone."
