Das zweite SKINDRED-Album "Roots Rock Riot“ wird nach 13 Jahren am 28.02.21 via Hassle Hindsight erstmals auf Vinyl wiederveröffentlicht, zudem wird es eine neue CD Version geben.
Die in verschiedenen Farbvarianten erhältliche Vinyl Version liegt eine 7“ bei, auf der mit ‘Struggle’ (unveröffentlicht) und ‘It’s A Crime’ (einzig auf der Japan Version erschienen) zwei Bonus-Songs vertreten sind. Die CD Version erhält zudem noch eine Akustik-Version von ‘Destroy The Dance Floor’.
Sänger Benji kommentiert:
“I’m not one of those people who cheers when they’ve finished a record. But I’m always thankful to get to make my art, blending contemporary British music and Jamaican music, with my friends. On Roots Rock Riot I think we did that excellently.”
Gitarrist Mikey fügt hinzu:
“I’m really proud of the record,” the guitarist enthuses. “I had a hell of a lot of fun making it and it features some really important Skindred tracks.”
